Creating Models

To get started, break down the data you want to collect into pieces.  Often, the first Model you create will collect data for people and businesses.  When you collect data for a name, think of the pieces of that name that you will use throughout your templates.  Instead of creating one Variable for Name, you will want to create multiple Variables such as FirstName, MiddleName and LastName.  Similarly, you will break down an Address into Address1, Address2, City, State and Zip.  Continue creating Variables for all your individual and entity needs such as DOB, SSN or EIN.  It is okay to combine Variables for both individuals and entities on the same Model as Knackly will only ask for the Variables that it needs at any given time.
